Shaun McGinley

Shaun is the Operations Director of Sigma Wireless Communications Ltd, a systems integrator based in Dublin, Ireland focusing on Mission Critical communications for the Emergency Services and Private Enterprise. With over 26 years’ experience in this space, Shaun has been responsible for the deployment of many critical communication projects, including the roll out of the national Tetra Network in Ireland and wireless projects for the United Nations. He has a strong technical and commercial knowledge, provides presales technical support and tender submissions on behalf of Sigma Wireless working with international renowned vendors such as Nokia, Druid Software, Airspan, Ericsson, Motorola Solutions and Radwin.

He was previously responsible for the engineering and support divisions within Sigma Wireless, is now focused on the Private LTE/4G and 5G solutions and is working on a number of Proof-of-Concept Private LTE projects along with managing the United Nations projects for Sigma Wireless.

A cofounding member of EUWENA and has participated in Spectrum regulator submissions advocating for private network spectrum for private enterprise and utility customers and is chairperson of the EUWENA Eco System working group.

He graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street Dublin, in Electronic Engineering and Dublin City University in Information Technology. LinkedIn
