EUWENA attends EU spectrum committee workshop

September 20th the EU’s spectrum committee – RSPG; Radio Spectrum Policy Group – held a workshop on amongst others 6G requirements and 5G for verticals. These verticals were represented by EUWENA’s Koen Mioulet, together with amongst others 5G-ACIA (industries) and EUTC (Utilities). Again we articulated the notion of the necessity of private wireless networks for Industry 4.0, the demand for networks with controlled performances and the need to aggregate across verticals and countries(after all the remit of EUWENA). Presentations like these ought to raise the awareness for the case of the verticals amongst policy makers and regulators. Also they are badly needed to ‘counterweigh’ the presence of mobile operators in the wireless and  spectrum domain. Some 170 people from the sector attended, many online
